Hi Pedro,

I'll let you know my comments in a week or so (that's usually the time for a Blurb book to arrive here). Knowing and admiring your work for so long now I'm very sure to be thrilled by the prints on paper though :)

Kindest regards, and keep up your brillient photography !

Léon

Hi Pedro,

Your book "Visions" just arrived ! I'm really overwhelmed by it's beauty !
You should be very proud of yourself as these are excellent works of art.
I'm proud of owning my own copy now ;)

The prints are technically flawless; no blown highlights, plenty of detail in the shadow-parts. What strikes me most is the enourmous contrast in f.i. "Renaissance" or "Last Light"..
NO WAY a jpg resised computerscreen image can compete with the sublime printings in this book... I do have to really recommend it to everyone...

Again: CONGRATULATIONS !!!

Cheers,

Léon

Thank you, so much, my friend. Glad you like it!
My copy didn't arrived yet so I was a bit anxious about the print quality (the feedback was good but we never know).
The preview book on blurb isn't good enough, so I'll be grateful if you give it a comment.
Best regards,
Pedro

A bit grainny on the presentation, but not on the book.

Yes, I add some grain, it's very evident on the presentation, much more subtle on the book itself. :thanks:

PS i was recently wandering (really) how do you achieve your low-key look (in genral terms) - is it as simple as underexposure, or you do it in postprocessing by lowering exposure/brightnes etc.?

I always try to get the right exposure, so no underexposure. I usually do my photos in early morning or at sundown (sometimes I use a flashlight to help me focus :D
With that low light conditions, the result wil be low key, specially at night. I do post processing also as you said.
